That has been the underlying mission statement over the course of all 5 albums by Ron Gallo - human being, songwriter, musician and occasional disruptor.

Gallo has crafted a chaotic and colorful world built upon opposing forces and driven by some deep love and frustration for humanity at large. Going from scream to whisper, fury to laughter, sometimes all at once. A live band setting that evokes Andy Kaufman as much as it does Iggy and The Stooges or Modern Lovers, then emerging from the wreckage with just a nylon string guitar and his most essential tools - his words and worldview - a bouncing room filled with noise a moment ago now reduced to hear a pin drop. Such is life.

His debut album “HEAVY META” described by NPR as “literate electricity” was released to widespread critical acclaim and world-wide touring, and an unlikely hit single in “Young Lady, You’re Scaring Me” which has amassed over 69 million streams. He has performed at Coachella, Bonnaroo, Governors Ball, Newport Folk Festival and Pukkelpop. His latest album “checkmate”, released on legendary indie label Kill Rock Stars gets back to the basics of songs for voice and guitar with attention on what is left to hang on to in a world that is seemingly crumbling before our eyes. He began an ongoing song series on social media called “7AM Songs of Resistance for the Internet” that addresses current social and political issues daily, the project has resulted in 90+ songs and reached millions worldwide. In 2023 he also published his first book titled "SOCIAL METEOR".
