Desire is the Montreal-born, Los Angeles–based duo of Megan Louise and producer Johnny Jewel (Chromatics, Glass Candy). Fusing French and English vocals with cinematic synths, their music has appeared in films by David Lynch, Nicolas Refn, and Ryan Gosling, and on runways for Versace and Dior. Their third album Games People Play (2025) delivers disco anthems and noir ballads in equal measure. Live, Desire transform the stage into a dream of light, shadow, and sound.

Dream pop for the broken heart. Formed in Montreal and now based in Los Angeles, Desire is the duo of vocalist Megan Louise and producer Johnny Jewel (Chromatics, Glass Candy, Twin Peaks). Their sound blends French and English vocals with shimmering synths, cinematic atmospheres, and pulsing rhythms that echo both disco and noir.

As the flagship group of the influential label Italians Do It Better, Desire’s music has scored runways for Versace, Dior, Chanel, and Fendi, and has appeared in films by Nicolas Winding Refn, David Lynch, and Ryan Gosling. Their breakthrough hit Under Your Spell became a modern classic after its iconic placement in Refn’s neon-soaked Drive.

In March 2025, Desire released their third album Games People Play—a sprawling collection that moves from intimate torch songs to dancefloor anthems. With collaborations alongside Diplo, Guy Gerber, Omar S, Seth Troxler, and Maceo Plex, it cements Desire’s reputation for marrying club energy with cinematic melancholy.

On stage, Desire is a full sensory experience: soaring vocals, analog synths, and surrealist film projections combine to transform the night into a dream you don’t want to wake from.
