BIO

cheese touch is a popstar duo MC'd by Superorganism frontman Orono and internet sensation Mitch Marsico. Their music is equal parts sad and sexy-drenched in emotional turmoil, self- deprecation, and the kind of cultural whiplash that comes from growing up on Weezer, Beastie Boys, and Hannah Montana

As natural storytellers, Orono and Mitch weave humor and heartache into everything they create. From writing and producing their records to directing their own music videos, cheese touch runs on a DIY, guerrilla spirit. They're making art—but they're also having fun. And it's contagious.

Orono brings her signature surrealism from Superorganism, with appearances at Coachella, Primavera Sound, and Fuji Rock, and praise from Rolling Stone, The Guardian, and The FADER. Mitch's absurdist videos have earned over 50 million views in the past year, gaining him a fast-growing cult following. Now, the two have joined forces to take over the internet and save the world, or whatever.

In 2024, cheese touch took the chaos IRL. After a last-minute viral Tik Tok, they threw a free pop-up show at Cheesman Park in Denver, CO. Westword covered the mayhem. When they came back, the crowd doubled-and the show nearly got shut down. Luckily, the park ranger was a fan, and told the noise complainers to, quote, "fuck off."

Their songs-"JAKE PAUL LOGAN PAUL MAKING OUT,” "POOL," and "AIRHEAD" feel like 3AM Tumblr posts in MP3 form: messy, weird, embarrassingly honest-and they're catchy as hell. Gorilla vs. Bear has shown love with SiriusXM plays, after seeing them open for indie legend Ben Kweller

cheese touch has already gone viral online, sold out merch, played packed shows, and made lifelong fans. Now they're finishing their debut album-plotting, scheming, and hurtling toward cult phenomenon status: totally unserious, yet completely for real.
